Thusitha Balasooriya for MUC
Born in Rathnapura and raised in Pannipitiya, I am an alumnus of Dharmapala College and the Open University of Sri Lanka. With a diploma in Governance and years of experience as a political organizer and youth leader, I have been active in politics for over 15 years. I’ve served as Secretary of the Social Democratic Party and National Organizer of the Anti-Corruption Front. As CEO of companies under Sooriya Organization, I generate employment in advertising, real estate, and optical sectors. Now contesting the Maharagama Urban Council, I aim to bring youthful energy, innovation, and good governance to serve the people.
